Prerequisites

To be successful in this course, learners should have the following:
• Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions, and the Azure Portal.
• Experience writing in an Azure supported language at the intermediate level. (C#, JavaScript, Python, or Java)
• Ability to write code to connect and perform operations on, a SQL or NoSQL database product. (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra or similar)
• Experience writing code to handle authentication, authorization, and other security principles at the intermediate level.
• A general understanding of HTML, the HTTP protocol and REST API interfaces. If you are new to Azure and cloud computing consider course AZ-900.

This school is hands down the BEST IT school I have attended for SEC+. I have attended SEC+ twice at Fort Gordon and the information that is taught there was so outdated. I appreciate Applied Technology Academy so much! I actually enjoyed the instruction, it was not hard to follow, and the instructor, Mr. Chaney, was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to communicate to the lowest level from Beginner to advanced. Our class had 100% pass rate of who took the exam after the course was over. As an Aircraft Maintainer of 17 years, having little to no IT background, I was prepared to take Security + 2-3 times before passing after all of the stories I'd heard. I attended the bootcamp Applied Technologies offered for 1 week, and was BLOWN AWAY! The instructor was TRULY THE BEST! It was a ton of information. However, the way it was taught, broken down for anyone still having issues understanding, and the test prep was all outstanding! I have already got a friend to go and will be spreading the word to anyone else I know looking for any IT Certifications! Looking forward to other certifications and PMP myself! BTW, I didn't barely pass either...although only looking for a 750 to get by, I scored well over 800. THANK YOU TO THE BEST TEACHER I COULD ASK FOR!

I can't say enough good things about Applied Technology Academy. I require CompTia Security+ for my current job and this is the place that I went through to get it.
